Madalena Roque

Madalena Roque is a PhD Student at NOVA. She is a PhD student in nanosciences and nanotechnology, and her research is focused on nature-based and biomimetic separator membranes for sustainable energy storage devices. Madalena’s PhD work aims to be part of the (r)evolution of emerging natural-based separator membranes, exploiting the potential of Cellulose, Wood and Cork, validating them as candidates for application in energy storage devices with increasing market demand, responding to the current needs for clean energy and environmentally sustainable energy storage.
