Prof. Luis Pereira is Associate Professor at NOVA. He holds a PhD in Microelectronics and Optoelectronics, focusing on thin-film devices. His recent and current research interests include the design and synthesis of 1D, 2D, and 3D inorganic and hybrid nanostructures, chiral cellulose nanocomposites, functional micro- and nanofibers, and their integration into chromogenic, electronic, energy harvesting, and energy storage devices with different form factors.
