Dr Laura Lander is a Lecturer in the Engineering Department at King’s College London and head of the Green Energy Materials Lab. Her research focuses on the development of sustainable and resilient battery energy storage devices. To this aim, her group applies a holistic multi-angle research approach combining fundamental materials science to develop innovative cathode materials for next-generation batteries, with techno-economics, supply chain analyses, and life cycle assessment to understand the whole-systems impacts of batteries.
